Three buildings on Campus Hoogvliet are the home to several school communities. The three other buildings are meant for sports, housing (100 homes) and art & culture. There’s also an underground car park.

The concrete and glass buildings have sharp contours. The load-bearing façades have open corners and are fortified with concrete cores for stability purposes.

Vorsselmans placed the aluminium façade bases in collaboration with De Groot & Visser, developed especially for this project. Vorsselmans used a standard Schüco system and made some adjustments.

The unique thing about these façades is the combination of the chosen aluminium system, the extremely large dimensions of the glass panes, and the original screen-printed design. Wiel Arets chose a leaf motif for the screen-printed structural glazing, which was designed exclusively for the campus.

The façades were prefabricated as much as possible, which resulted in a quick pace.
