The Dutch construction world knows Utrecht’s Facet because of its two faces: the striking diamond shape, next to the motorway, and the stainless steel etched façade cladding on the square side. The entire façade was designed in collaboration with Vorsselmans and the “diamond” was created with sun-proof glass with extremely high noise insulation requirements. For the square side façade, the right materials were sought in collaboration with Vorsselmans’ suppliers to achieve the architect’s intended result.
