Because of the complicated architecture of the new office building, Vorsselmans was included in the engineering process very early-on.
A sustainable new build
Because of Vanhout.pro’s growing success, its available office space had gotten too small. That’s why they went with a sustainable new build that met the standards of 2021. When it comes to ventilation, heating and cooling, lighting, energy and water use, those standards were met and exceeded.
Checkerboard
Vanhout.pro wanted to protect the overall vibe of the previous building. That’s why it went with an innovative design by LV Architecten. The façade was given a checkerboard effect. It turned into a feat of engineering, with prefabricated façades and glued masonry. Because of the complicated architecture, Vorsselmans was involved in the engineering of the build quite early-on. All parties involved needed to be meticulous. We liked working with Vanhout.pro, which values quality as much as we do. In November of 2013, we started dismantling and tearing down the old office. In February of 2014, the first stone was laid. In November of 2014, Vanhout.pro was able to start using its new office building.
