Voorzetgebouw
In commission of Klepièrre property, and in close collaboration with the main contractor Boele & Van Eesteren and the metalworking company Aldowa, Vorsselmans Group recently realised a unique façade for the Voorzetgebouw at the Stationsplein in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The building, designed by the architect firm Aloon Partners, is characterised by its eye-catching design in the shape of an eyelash. Vorsselmans: ‘The ‘eyelash façade’ is constructed of many, uniquely shaped aluminium panels, giving the building its distinct appearance. It wasn’t easy to make this design come to life, neither was the fact that we were working on a very small building location.”
